The Wythe / Grayson Public Library
offers a section on local history and genealogical information.
They are open 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and
Friday; 8:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday and 9:00 a.m.
- 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Copies are 10¢ each. Check out

The Kegley Library
at the Wytheville Community College, located in Smyth Hall, is
open for research Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
No fee for using this collection, but a professional librarian
must be present. Call prior to visiting to make an appointment.

The Wythe County Courthouse
is open for in house research Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00
p.m. There is no fee. Must conduct self-guided research. Staff
is available for questions and assistance only. 276-223-6050. |
Wythe County Historical Society
Library at the Heritage Preservation Center
Contains the manuscripts and documents collected over a 25 year
period by the Wythe County Historical Society and archival materials
from the collection of the Town of Wytheville. The Library collection
includes photographs, books, newspaper articles, obituaries, etc.
