  The Wythe / Grayson Public Library
offers a section on local history and genealogical information. They are open 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday; 8:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday and 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Copies are 10¢ each. Check out is free for most materials with a valid library card. 276-228-4951.

The Kegley Library
at the Wytheville Community College, located in Smyth Hall, is open for research Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. No fee for using this collection, but a professional librarian must be present. Call prior to visiting to make an appointment. 276-223-4700.
 

  The Wythe County Courthouse
is open for in house research Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. There is no fee. Must conduct self-guided research. Staff is available for questions and assistance only. 276-223-6050.

Wythe County Historical Society
Library at the Heritage Preservation Center

Contains the manuscripts and documents collected over a 25 year period by the Wythe County Historical Society and archival materials from the collection of the Town of Wytheville. The Library collection includes photographs, books, newspaper articles, obituaries, etc. Call for hours and fees. 276-223-3331.
